Papers and Posters accepted will be included in the program only if (at least) one of the authors completes the registration process before July 20, 2016. A presenter can always be a non-presenting co-author on one additional paper
Payment must be done by bank transfer or credit card. All bank expenses charged during the bank transfer are on participants’ responsibility. Upon receipt of your registration form and payment, the Congress Secretariat will confirm your participation in the XVII Encuentro AECA. You will receive a formal confirmation in due course. Therefore, you should send us a copy of the transfer receipt to 17aeca@ipb.pt.

Company/university/Organization invoice
We are able to invoice a third party sponsor, usually an employer. If your organization has agreed to fund your attendance, we will need copy of the purchase order containing the organization’s full name and address so that we can raise the invoice.

Please Note: You must complete your conference registration and pay all registration fees before a letter of confirmation can be issued.
Citizens of the European Union, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Romania and Switzerland need only an identity card to enter Portugal.
In addition to their identity card, minors must also present an authorisation form from their parents to travel.
For visits of less than 90 days, a passport valid for at least three months after the end of their stay is necessary for visitors from Albania, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Guatemala, Holy See, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Saint Kitts and Nevis, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, United States of America, Uruguay, Venezuela, Special Administrative Regions of the People’s Republic of China in Hong Kong and Macao and Taiwan territorial Authority.
Citizens from countries not mentioned above need a visa to enter Portugal, which may be requested at the Portuguese Embassy or Consulate of their country for stays of up to 90 days.
Under the terms of the Convention Implementing the Schengen Agreement, flights between Schengen states are considered to be internal flights and passengers do not need to obtain another visa.

The IPB will prepare a letter of invitation for conference attendees requesting visas to travel to Bragança for XVII Encuentro AECA (AECA 2016). As visa requirements can take several weeks, attendees should be advised to request the letter no later than 3 months prior to the conference. To expedite the process, please complete the registration here. Please be informed that you will have to pay the registration fee in advance before the letter can be issued. If the attendee has paid the registration fee and the visa is not approved, a full refund will be issued, excluding any bank costs.
